This is a 2-hour ONLINE Zoom workshop. SoulCollage® is a joyful gentle, intuitive, creative process that involves creating small collage cards that participants use as a powerful tool for ongoing self-reflection, self-awareness, and community building. Our session will focus on the two essential elements that are the essence of SoulCollage®: Finding compelling images (cutting out and pasting them) and speaking aloud or journaling from the image point of view (the I Am One Who… process).
We use a joyful process of making small, 5” x 8” collages from pictures and images that intuitively catch your eye. No artistic tendencies are required – just an open heart and a willingness to engage. A personal deck of cards can reflect one’s self and provide unique insights when cards are “read” using an easy and insightful process gained through a guided journaling process. The participants in this workshop will engage in the reflective process to create collage cards that they can use as tools for prayer, meditation & connecting with their inner spirituality or soul wisdom.
This workshop is being held on Zoom. The cost is $30. You must register in advance. Basic cardmaking supplies will be mailed to you if you register ten days in advance. To learn more and register for this workshop, visit https://artworksmichigan.com/.../soulcollage-card-workshop/. A Zoom link and supply list will be sent to you after registering. This workshop is perfect for first-timers and experienced card-makers who want dedicated time and space for cardmaking and witnessing. All levels are welcome, but no experience is necessary!
